The Yungang Grottoes are located on the southern slope of Mt. Wuzhou to the west of the city of Datong in

stretch for 1,300 meters from south to north and contain 53 grottoes and 51,000 Buddhist statues. It is one of the

oldest and largest grottoes in China.
